My Old House

One reason we chose Ketchikan as our Alaska destination is that it's the closest to the "Lower 48." But the biggest reason is that it's where I lived for three years, for first, second, and third grades. (I have not been back since.) My earliest memories are from here, including the old house at 1215 Sayles Street. It's still there!

This wall used to be taller than me! I spent three years of my young life here. Lisa standing near the yard and gutter (!) where I used to play. Stairway to the front door - site of splinters in the summer and icy falls in the winter.

  1. Doesn't look like it has changed much in the past 40+ years.
