Back To The Lower 48

We have an early afternoon departure, so we only have part of this last day in Ketchikan. And wouldn't you know it, it's going to be a nice, rain-free day! We pack up the rain gear as we enjoy a breakfast and prepare to check out and head back to the airport. The largest state of them all is now checked off the list for the 50/50 2010 project!

View from the B&B window. The morning of our check-out day - finally, no rain! We're Port, not Starboard. The B&B's 'porthole.' Decoration outside the B&B. The B&B's kitchen. Cute wall item in the B&B's kitchen. Look! There goes another eagle! (Sorry, had to Photoshop that eagle in. They don't stay still for photos!) Thanks for looking over our shoulders and sharing our Alaskan adventure with us! Final shot of the old house. Lenny and Lisa on the ferry. At the Ketchikan airport. '50' is indeed the theme here! Lisa at the airport. Liftoff! Farewell (for now), Ketchikan. It was wet but fun! Settling in for some reading on the plane. San Francisco, by way of Seattle, here we come!
